Mr. Darrow, owner of Haozous, has been practicing Civil Engineering for over 20 years, specializing in road design, site engineering, and hydraulics. Mr. Darrow has a Master in Business Administration and several years experience inspecting and supervising construction site activities. He has designed grading, storm drainage and utility systems for residential and commercial site developments up to 15 acres in size. His experience also includes the design of storm drainage conveyance and treatment sytems for several public road projects.

Ed McCarthy, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. McCarthy is senior hydrologist at Haozous with more than 15 years
of experience in water resource engineering and hydrology. His expertise
includes surface hydrology and hydraulic modeling, water quality, and instrumentation.
He has designed, implemented, and monitored mitigation measures to reduce
development impacts on the environment. Successful mitigations
include developing guidelines for agricultural watershed management, designing
stormwater management facilities for urban development, as well as designing
stream and wetland restoration projects.
